Learning rooted in nature
At My Toddler’s Learning, we believe in building a child’s foundation through nature-based experiences and meaningful connection. Our activities go beyond traditional worksheets — they’re rooted in real-world exploration, hands-on creativity, and developmental milestones that matter most during early childhood. Every part of this site is lovingly created, photographed, and tested by a real mom who’s passionate about learning.
Birds singing, crickets chirping, and leaves blowing in the wind — these are just a few of the nature sounds your child will hear as they develop new skills in the My Toddler’s Learning App.
Designed to complement our website, the app adds more interactive experiences for your child — blending learning and play.
Whether at home or on the go, the My Toddler’s Learning App offers an all-in-one learning experience that grows with your child.
As a caregiver, you’ll have access to our Everyday Printables Collection — available on both the website and in the app. These include matching pictures, pattern identification, flash cards, and other engaging resources you can print at home.
Want more? The app unlocks a seasonally themed printable library — an expanded collection organized by both seasons and skill areas, available exclusively to app users.
Discover engaging, hands-on experiences that support your child’s growth — available on both our website and the app.
Each activity is thoughtfully aligned with one of the 7 key areas of development, helping you nurture your child’s learning in a well-rounded way.
“So... What do you do with a toddler all day?” That was the question I asked our pediatrician at my son’s 15-month checkup. It was just a few months after I left the corporate world of 14 years to become a stay-at-home mom. With my background in the learning and development field, I knew how important early education was — but I struggled to find a reputable website that could support his growth in a meaningful way.
Knowing my background, our pediatrician smiled and said, “Why don’t you create a website?” I laughed, but when I told my husband later that night, he didn’t. “Why not?” he said. “All you need to do is learn some HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.” Easy for him to say — he’s been a developer his whole life! But I’ve always loved design, organizing content, and art. I needed a creative outlet, and this challenge excited me.
I dove into web design and realized early on I needed beautiful, high-quality photos. That December, I got my first DSLR camera and photography book from the best mentor I know — my husband. With his guidance and my past experience as an Instructional Designer, I built this site from the ground up. You won’t find pop-up ads or email solicitations here — just a clean, ad-free, homemade experience with my own code, photography, and illustrations.
Inspired by how much fun we had doing these activities together, I decided to learn Swift and develop my first app: My Toddler’s Learning. I wanted it to be more than just games. I believe that caregivers play a huge role in early learning, so the app also includes even more printables than the website — aligned by seasons and skill areas — and access to all the same activities found here.
Everything you see — the website, the app, the photography, and the illustrations — is a true labor of love. I hope your family finds joy and connection through these resources, just as mine has.
