Contact paper, tape, markers (orange and brown), and tissue paper (orange and brown)
For a problem-solving twist, draw a pumpkin on the non-sticky side of contact paper, coloring the stem brown and the pumpkin orange. Tape all four corners of the paper to a window. Cut the tissue paper into small squares. Guide your toddler on where to place the brown versus orange squares; they will catch on quickly!
