Colorful Chicks
Create adorable colorful chicks with your toddler using tissue paper, glue, and fine motor skills.
Materials
- Paper plate (cut in half)
- Yellow construction paper
- Orange construction paper
- Fake eyes
- Tissue paper
- Glue
- Optional feathers
Instructions
- Pre-glue chick shapes onto a half plate.
- Have your toddler tear tissue paper, crunch it, and glue it down.
- Glue the tissue paper onto the chick shapes.
- Then add eyes, beaks, and feathers.
Tips
Encourage your toddler to crumple each piece of tissue paper before gluing it down.
